  1. Library Resources and Services for Undergraduate Students
    This online course is tailor-made for undergraduate students which aims to help them utilize library services and resources to complete research assignments.

    This online course is tailor-made for postgraduate students to get familiar with library services and resources for their learning and research. It aims to equip postgraduate students with skills and knowledge to conduct research for assignments and dissertation, with particular focus on the literature review process, database searching, and finding key research through researcher profiles and more.

What constitutes plagiarism? Would it still be plagiarism if you have cited your references correctly?

Join us to find out more about what constitutes plagiarism, learn some techniques to avoid plagiarism, and the concepts of reference types and citation styles. Instructor will demonstrate basic features of EndNote to help you better organize your references to make citing easier. Some commonly used plagiarism detection tools will also be introduced.

Students who have participated in our online courses and webinars will have their attendance recorded in the Co-curricular Achievement Transcript (CAT) issued by the Centre STARS by semester end, after the completion of all sessions for the semester. E-certificate for online courses will be auto-generated via Learn@PolyU when participants complete the course. For webinars, you can apply a library e-certificates after logging in to the workshop page (click “CAT & e-Certificate”).
