* Items may be renewed any number of times from the date of the initial check-out until the due date reaches the limit of the "maximum renewal period", if the item is not recalled or requested by another user. All loans are subject to recall. Late return are liable to fines.

Library Notices

Due date reminder, overdue, recall, reservation pick-up, and other Library notices will be emailed to your registered personal email account.

Copiers, Printers, Scanners

Black & white photocopiers and printers can be found on all floors, while colour printers and scanners are located on 3/F. Large format plotters, thermal binders, lamination services are also available at the Technical Support Desk in 4/F i-Space. Octopus cards are accepted for payment.

Group Discussion Areas

Group Study Zone 1 & 2 (G/F) are furnished with furniture for groups work. The Multipurpose Hall (P/F) and Research Lounge (5/F) are also available for quiet discussion.

Current Awareness Centre

A lounge-type environment with easy access to new books on display, latest issues of popular magazines, daily newspapers, and PolyU Reads Collection.

LibCafe@PolyU

Need a break to refresh your mind? LibCafe provides you with a lively and stimulating atmosphere for social interaction and idea exchange. A wide selection of food, beverages and snacks are served at a discount.

Computers

Hundreds of PC workstations are provided for multi-purpose use on various floors. A number of iMacs and PCs with graphics software applications are available on the 3/F and 4/F. Many of them can be reserved one day in advance via iBooking System. Please note a Library Patron NetID is required for accessing Library Public PCs, please refer to NetID & NetPassword for details

Follow the wireless LAN setup and login procedure of provided by your University to connect the notebook and mobile device to Eduroam network.
