About the Speaker:

Dr Meng Li joined ACS Publications in late 2019 as a Development Editor for Analytical Chemistry and ACS Sensors and was responsible for reviewing triaged manuscripts. She is currently in charge of content commissions and community engagement for the core chemistry portfolio, including JACS and JACS Au in China.
Dr Li received her Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the East China University of Science and Technology, and then worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Resource and Environmental Engineering, ECUST.
Prior to joining ACS Publications, Dr Li worked at the Royal Society of Chemistry, where she focused on journal marketing.

SpringerMaterials provides curated data and interactive functionalities for visualizing and analyzing data to support research in materials science, physics, chemistry, engineering, and other related fields.

Start Using SciFinder-n Now!
SciFinder-n, a new platform to replace SciFinder is already in use. The old SciFinder web version will be retired by the end of June 2022. Please make sure you migrate your saved searches and alerts before this date.
What is SciFinder-n?
SciFinder-n (n = new) is a research tool that allows you to access the world's largest collection of biochemical, chemical, chemical engineering, medical, and other related information. The library has upgraded our subscription from SciFinder to SciFinder-n.
SciFinder-n provides intuitive interface and improved searching experience. It now offers functionalities such as PatentPak (access to Patents) and CAS Analytical Methods (a collection of synthetic protocols).
How to Access SciFinder-n?
You can access the database by clicking on “Online Access” from library website.
Like SciFinder, users must register an account in order to access SciFinder-n. If you are an existing SciFinder users, you can use the same credential to access SciFinder-n. New users must create an individual login account via the Registration link using a valid PolyU email address, i.e. an e-mail address with @connect.polyu.hk or @polyu.edu.hk.
How to migrate searching history and alerts from the old SciFinder to SciFinder-n platform?
If you wish to continue using your saved searches and alerts on the SciFinder platform, please follow the instructions here to migrate them to the new SciFinder-n platform before 30 Jun 2022.

Dr Rebecca Ciezarek, the Journal Publishing Manager at Wiley, is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of Humanities and Social Sciences journals, helping direct journal strategy, and providing guidance on journal publishing best practice and business-related issues. Rebecca also oversees partnership development activities in Australia, building relationships with scholarly societies and professional associations.
Prior to joining Wiley, Rebecca was a lecturer and tutor at Victoria University, Melbourne, completing her PhD in 2016.
