A Chance to Win a Cultural Exchange Tour to Japan: Write a Reflection on a Japan-Themed Book

各位理大同學,拓展學習經歷,擴闊國際視野的機會又來了!只要投稿參加2020「笹川杯品書知日本」徵文比賽,以千五至二千字分享你的讀後感,你將有機會往日本作深度體驗及交流。比賽詳情如下:

「笹川杯品書知日本」2020徵文大獎賽

「笹川杯品書知日本」2020徵文比賽,旨在鼓勵全國包括港澳地區的大學生通過閱讀各類與日本相關的書籍,撰寫論文、感想、體會等形式的文章,激發大學生對日本社會、經濟、文化等各方面瞭解和研究的興趣。

為配合是項比賽,圖書館亦舉辦以日本為主題的網上書籍展覽,歡迎同學借閲好書,再踴躍投稿。

徵文要求

  1. 徵文內容
    閱讀各種、各類與日本相關的圖書,之後所撰寫的論文、感想文、體會文等文章。
  2. 截止時間
    各參賽者須於2020年8月28日或之前向本校投稿。學校將會選出兩篇徵文推薦參加全國決賽。
  3. 徵文對象
    所有理大學生
  4. 投稿方式
    1) 請通過電郵投稿,徵文稿須為word格式。
    2) 投稿接收郵箱: lbueo@polyu.edu.hk
    3) 投稿電郵主題請寫:《品書知日本2020》投稿
    4) 徵文稿件的檔案名格式為:姓名--學生証號碼--徵文的標題
       例如:張三--19123456D--京都漫步
    5) 本次比賽進入全國決賽階段後,將採用匿名審稿機制,請確定文章內沒有出現姓名和學校資料。
  5. 稿件要求
    1) 徵文語言:中文
    2) 字數限制:1500-2000字(不符合字數要求的徵文將被篩除)
    3) 文章體裁:自由(散文、詩歌除外)
    4) 格式要求:本次比賽以「書」為主題,請在文末以章節附註形式注明所閱圖書名稱及參考文獻。
  6. 徵文聲明:
    1) 參加過其他徵文活動並獲獎的作品不能參選。
    2) 獲獎作品的版權歸本活動主辦者所有,獲獎作品不能參加其他同類徵文活動。
    3) 應徵作品一律不予退稿,請參賽者自留底稿。
  7. 徵文獎勵
    1) 理大校內初選:
    本次徵文大獎賽將在全校投稿作品中,推薦兩篇參加全國決賽之評選。理大圖書館將為兩名被推薦學生各頒發證書及圖書禮券港幣500元。
    2) 全國決賽評選:
    一等獎5名;二等獎10名;最佳組織獎5個。
    所有獲獎者將獲得由主辦單位頒發的獲獎證書。其中,5名一等獎的得獎者將被邀請於2021年2月(暫定)進行為期8天的訪日交流。二等獎的得獎者及最佳組織獎之得獎者將獲得相應的獎品。

    經評審委員會通過的決賽結果,將會於2020年10月底經由大會官方網站發佈。

[Update] In views of the latest pandemic situation, HKTDC has decided to reschedule the Hong Kong Book Fair 2020. Our Library will be in touch with the Organizer to see whether the free tickets will be offered again. Please stay tuned to our announcement.

You will now have a chance to get a free admission ticket of the Hong Kong Book Fair! A total of 40 free admission tickets will be given to PolyU students by attending a selected event in the English Reading series or 「名作家講座系列」 seminars at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) between 17 to 20 Jul 2020. Meet with renowned authors and explore new literary worlds, and engage yourself in your next great read.

To redeem your FREE Hong Kong Book Fair ticket:

  1. Register here. Seats are limited. First come, first served!
  2. Upon successful registration, collect the Ticket Redemption Letter at the Library by 13-15 July, 9am – 5pm.
  3. Sign up for one of the seminars below.
  4. After attending the seminar, redeem the free Hong Kong Book Fair ticket with your student card and the original copy of Ticket Redemption Letter.

Self-checkout stations – Enhancing your borrowing experience!

With the full implementation of RFID technology on our book collection, users can now conveniently check out books without waiting in queue by using the new Self-checkout station placed near the exit of the Library Podium Floor. Experience for yourself how easy and fast it is to borrow books at the new station.

For Reserve Books and AV materials, please continue to use the designated Self-checkout stations in the respective areas to borrow the items.
