The Library is now under renovation and noise from renovation will occur in affected areas at times and works of noise level exceeding 70dB should not be carried out after 11:30am (Mon to Sat) as far as possible. Library’s opening hours and counter service hours during the Revision & Examination Period (11 Apr – 11 May 2022) will be as follows:

With the commencement of the Library’s revision and examination period, the 24-Hour Study Centre located at 1/F North Wing will open around the clock with effect from 11 April 2022. During the overnight access period, users are required to access the Centre via the 1/F entrance opposite to the Campus Control Centre (P111) and tap their PolyU student / staff ID cards when entering and leaving the Centre. The courier vendor of HKALL will resume service for JULAC Libraries on 1 Apr 2022. HKALL borrowing service is resumed.

Due to system maintenance, some library services e.g. OneSearch, renewal, request, MyRecord, etc, will be temporarily unavailable on 2 Jan 2022 from 12:00 midnight to 3:00am.

In view of the very high demand for study space, the Library will implement the Limited Access Arrangement for JULAC Borrower/Reader Card Holders (students only) during the Revision and Examination Period from 22 Nov - 17 Dec 2021. Access to the Library by students of other UGC institutions will be limited to non-peak hours (6:01pm - 11:00pm) of the day only.
