Regs4ships is a database containing maritime literature, including publications and regulations from IMO, Hong Kong Flag State and other authorities in the maritime industry e.g. European Union, International Labour Organisation, World Health Organisation, etc.

As all Library printers and copiers now accept Octopus card, Flexicard service will be phased out on 1 July 2017. Please exhaust the remaining value in your Flexicard as soon as possible. In celebration of PolyU’s 80th anniversary, the Library organizes an exhibition to showcase the University’s achievements and contributions to the betterment of Hong Kong, the nation and the world over the years. Books, videos, photos and Library materials that record life in PolyU are exhibited. The event opens to PolyU Library eligible users only.
In keeping with tradition, the Library will set up the Wall of Wishes on the podium floor for students to exchange inspiring words to cheer each other up during the final examination period. You can also take a selfie with your wish and post it on your Facebook (hashtags suggested: #PolyU, #bestofluck4exams).
Drop by the Wall of Wishes and show your support to your friends, fellow students, and to anyone facing a challenge. FREE gift packs will be distributed to students during the revision period from 24 to 27 April.

Set up in Sep 2015, “The PolyU Volunteers” now has close to 1,000 members, mainly comprising of students, staff, alumni, and former staff. A wide variety of service opportunities are made available for volunteers with different expertise and interests.
