Termination of Flexicard Service from 1 Jul 2016
With Octopus payment now accepted on all Library printers and copiers, the Library has decided to gradually phase out the Flexicard service and will terminate the support for Flexicards after 30 Jun 2016 in order to save the cost of maintaining the service. New Flexicards are no longer available for sale in the Library. Payments by Flexicards are still accepted in some Library printers until 30 Jun 2016.
Temporary Closure of Reading Rooms Entrance at 3/F and 4/F (16-18 Feb)
Due to the installation work of UV Lamp Sterilizing sets to the air-conditioning systems, the rooms entrance at 3/F and 4/F will be closed alternatively as below:

Temporary Closure of 24-hour Study Centre (8:30am - 3:00pm on 12 Feb 2016)
24-hour Study Centre (Room L001) will be temporarily closed for carpet cleaning from 8:30am to 3:00pm on 12 Feb 2016 (Fri).
Please use other areas of the Library during the period.

Noisy Work in Room L401 & L501 (15-19 Jan 2016)
To accommodate users’ needs in private study space, new private study carrels will be installed in Room L401 and L501 from 15 – 19 Jan 2016. Part of the study areas near lift lobby will be temporarily closed.
