This is a combined collection of the papers of four American missionary family and individuals who had spent years in India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Iran between 1914 and 1975: The Dr. James Martin and Miriam Benade papers, 1923-1975 (primarily based in Lahore, Pakistan, etc.); The Joseph Leroy Dodds correspondence, 1914-1957 (Saharanpur, India); The J. Christy Wilson papers, 1952-1971 (Afghanistan); and The Rolla Hoffman papers, 1915-1957 (Tehran and Mashhad, Iran).
