Asia in the Twentieth Century: General MacArthur and War, Occupation, and Reconstruction in the Pacific, 1941-1972 comprises 20 collections sourced from the MacArthur Memorial Archive and Library and the U.S. National Archives and Records Association (NARA). This collection charts the role of the U.S. and General MacArthur in World War II and during the occupation and reconstruction of Japan, and during the Korean War.
