The Chinese Text Project serves as an online digital library, offering an extensive collection of pre-modern Chinese texts. It encompasses a wide range of texts from the pre-Qin and Han dynasties. The repository covers diverse disciplines such as Confucianism, Daoism, Mohism, Legalism, Military science, Mathematics, Histories, Ancient Classics, Etymology, Chinese Medicine, and Excavated Documents.

Using advanced technology, the platform delivers structured, searchable texts and integrated historical dictionaries, and provides selected translations in modern Chinese and English, significantly enhancing efficiency for research and learning.

中國哲學書電子化計劃是一個線上古籍文獻資料庫。涵蓋秦兩漢及漢代之後的文獻，涉及儒家、道家、墨家、法家、名家、兵家、算書、雜家、史書、經典文獻、字書、醫學等多元領域。

透過現代技術，以結構化、可搜尋的形式呈現文獻，提供進階檢索、相似段落提示、內建詞典及部分現代漢語和英文翻譯等功能，大幅提升研究與學習效率。

Note: The additional Application Programming Interface (API) is restricted to on-campus use only. Certain APIs may have usage limits to prevent excessive data mining.


Important Notes:

  • Users should not use Virtual Private Network (VPN) service when accessing e-resources from off campus. This may trigger suspension of user's account.
