State Papers Online provides access to the British State Papers, the papers of the Secretary of State from Henry VIII's accession in 1509 to 1782. Eighteenth Century, 1714-1782, Part I: State Papers Domestic, Military, Naval and Registers of the Privy Council cover the reigns of George I, George II and part of that of George III, providing material on British domestic politics and society in an age punctuated by Jacobite plots and rebellions, and conflict with parliament.
