An online repository of resource and competencies needed for design students engaged in research activities has been developed. By making use of the materials in the repository and participating in the face-to-face workshops, the students of the Communication Design program have acquired information literacy skills and learnt how to searh, select and incorporate the content suitable for various stages of their project and research work since Year 1. These skills and experience will be essential for them to prepare for the Capstone project in the final year of study.
