Welcome to our new staff

The Library is pleased to welcome two new colleagues who joined Research Support Section on 30 Oct 2017.

A big welcome to Miss Lam Tsz Ying, Jenny, our new Assistant Librarian II. She obtained the Master of Information Studies from Charles Sturt University. With her experience as a Project Coordinator at The Chinese University of Hong Kong Library, she brings the knowledge of scholarly communication area, along with her experience in arranging and coordinating the launch of a Current Research Information System (CRIS) in a university community.

Working with her teammates, Jenny will deliver a wide range of high quality, relevant and useful research support services for the University community. She is also the Faculty Librarian for the Applied Science & Textiles, working as a liaison with faculty staff to support their teaching, learning and research activities at Department of Applied Biology and Chemical Technology (ABCT), Department of Applied Mathematics (AMA), Department of Applied Physics (AP) and Institute of Textiles and Clothing (ITC). 

We also welcome our new Library Assistant I, Wai Shuk Han, Iris. Iris is responsible for supporting the administration management and operations of the section including general enquiry, and workshop & event management, etc. She obtained the Master of Information Studies from Charles Sturt University, and the Bachelor of Information Management (BIM) from The University of Hong Kong.
