  • Elsevier Author Talk: How to Get Your Paper Published
    Dr Jan Willem Wijnen (Executive Publisher Elsevier) gave a presentation about publication process on 11 Mar 2015. He also revealed what editors are looking for when selecting papers to publish and the most common reasons for editors to reject a paper.

  • Publishing in Wiley Materials Science Journals: An Advanced Perspective
    Dr. Jose Oliveira, editor-in-chief of Wiley Materials Science Journals. He delivered a talk on 12 Feb 2015. From the perspective of editor, he shared his views on the preparation and presentation of papers as well as hints for increasing the discoverability of your paper after publication.

User Education – ORCID Registration Training Workshops 

Three sessions of ORCID Registration Training Workshop had been provided to Departmental ORCID Coordinators (DOCs) in Mar 2015. Workshop participants were being introduced the background, procedures and timeline of ORCID account registration. Suggestions of DOCs were collated and incorporated into the ORCID account registration process. Thank you DOCs for your coordination in the exercise!
