New JULAC Library Card

New JULAC Library CardA new plastic JULAC Library card with a single bar-code accepted by all UGC-funded libraries has been fully adopted by the Library. It is adopted alongside a new, more user-friendly JULAC Card Registration System (JCRS), meaning that users no longer need to bring photocopies of their application forms when registering at host libraries. Users’ data and personal information will now be automatically transferred from the PolyU Library to host libraries during on-site registration. Old paper JULAC library cards have been gradually phasing out since last year and can no longer be used with effect from 1 Jan 2015. Users with old cards have already been alerted to issue the new card, but if you have not done so, please bring along a passport-sized photo with your old paper card to the Loan & Return Counter, and a new plastic JULAC Library Card will be issued to you on the spot.
