Newly Acquired Online Video Collections and Databases

Renovation Works in Upcoming Summer

The construction works of the Library Extension and Revitalisation Project are going full speed ahead after the examination period. Major noisy works will be carried out in this non-peak season to minimize the impact on Library users. The new 24-Hour Study Centre on 1/F is expected to open after summer.

New Online Learning Studio

To support online learning and teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic, a new Online Learning Studio (3/F) is now available for students and staff to have live classes and discussions. Try our new studio now!

Sterilization of Library’s Digital Equipment with the New UV-C Chamber

Library users are now welcome to use our new UV-C Disinfection Chamber near the Digital Visualisation Room at 4/F North Wing to sterilize Library’s digital equipment, i.e. laptops, tablets, VR devices, electronic IoTs, headphones and other AV equipment.

PolyU students and staff may download the latest version of EndNote from Library webpage now. New features in EndNote 20 include enhanced user interface, improved PDF reading experience, enhanced duplicate reference detection and handling, etc. Upgrade to EndNote 20 now!

Open Access Options for PolyU Authors

PolyU authors are encouraged to make your research outputs open access by depositing your final accepted manuscripts in PolyU Institutional Research Archive (PIRA) or publishing your works in Open Access Journals. The Library also welcomes requests to showcase non-traditional research outputs in PIRA. Learn more!
