A series of workshops will be organised for you to learn the use of emerging technologies and earn hands-on experience by creating digital contents and prototypes with tools at i-Space of the Library.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Workshop
AI applications are now widely adopted in our everyday life, from healthcare, education to transportation, and more. AI programs are developed to perform specific tasks in different fields and industries like medical diagnosis, robot control, and remote sensing, etc.
The following workshop is designed for you to learn the basic concept of AI and create your own AI application. Our instructors will teach you how to design AI product with vision or audio input to identify and detect object.

Internet of Things (IoT) Workshops
Internet of Things (IoT) applications offer innovative solutions to improve efficiency on every aspect of our daily life. A good example is the generation of automated responses to scenarios based on environmental data.
The following IoT workshops are designed to help you learn the concept and create your own IoT application even if you do not have any programming experience or electronic knowledge. Successful applicants will be given a set of IoT components for free ahead of time, when applicable. Our instructors will teach you how to configure and programme the IoT components during the workshops.

Vinyl Cutting Workshops
A vinyl cutter is a computer-controlled cutting device which is usually used to create labels, decals and paint masks by partially cutting through a two-layered self-adhesive material (e.g. vinyl sticker, paper sticker).
The following workshops give you the opportunity to create full colour stickers with a vinyl cutter.
