Self-check Service for Loan and Return of PolyU Books and Audio-Visual Materials

The Library has extended the self-check service to cover not only the borrowing but also the returning of open stack physical collection. With effect from 30 August 2021, users can return PolyU Library books and audio-visual items by using a designated self-check station near the Library exit on the Library Podium Floor during Library’s opening hours.

By following the on-screen instructions, you can return books and audio-visual items to the Library system by yourself and put the returned items in the bin underneath the self-check station for re-shelving by Library staff. You can also check the latest status of your library loans and fines using the self-check stations.
