Library Online Courses and Workshops – Get Ready for Your Studies!

As we head towards a new semester, the Library has updated the online courses and planned a series of workshops to support your learning and research journey.

We are thrilled to announce that our online course has been redesigned to better suit both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Now titled “Mastering Library Resources for Learning, Research, and Academic Success”, it includes 6 compulsory modules introducing essential research skills, and 1 optional module for those with advanced research needs or aiming for a scholarly path.

The “Using EndNote” course has also been updated for EndNote 21 and will continue to assist researchers in learning the key features of this useful reference management tool.

  • Library Workshops

    We are particularly excited about our new workshop for this semester, “AI Essentials for Students: From Basics to Responsible Use”. Tailored for AI beginners, this workshop enhances information and AI literacy by providing a foundational understanding of AI and its applications in academic settings. Undergraduate and taught postgraduate students can explore accessible AI tools at PolyU, learn to evaluate AI-generated content, and understand the ethical considerations of using generative AI. Join us to gain essential AI skills and learn how to use AI responsibly!
