Keeping up with global news issues helps you develop a broader perspective, understand the complexities of the world, and become an engaged global citizen. Our Library provides you with various resources to stay informed about the latest news and developments. 

1. Dedicated databases for news and newspapers: Access a vast selection of international news sources and publications from over 200 countries and 60 languages through our online databases, including PressReader, Factiva and WisersOne.
   
2. Current Awareness Centre (P/F): Relax and explore today’s top newspapers and magazines like South China Morning Post (SCMP), The New York Times, Forbes Asia, National Geographic, and more in a comfortable lounge-type setting. You can also find an iPad station equipped with PressReader for digital access to online news content.

Walking through the Historical Corridor of The Forbidden City 走進紫禁城的歷史迴廊

Venue: The Forum, 6/F South Wing, Library | Until 31 December 2024 

Over the centuries, the Forbidden City has been a witness to historical developments and transitions in China, each leaving behind intriguing stories. Our Library has set up a thematic book exhibition that delves into the history and unveils the secrets of this majestic palace complex, including the priceless arts and treasures, diverse architectural styles, captivating anecdotes, and more.
