Sound Level Meters in the Quiet Study Areas

In December 2024, our Library is piloting an initiative to enhance the study environment for all users. We have installed sound level meters in three key locations: 5/F South Wing, 4/F South Wing, and the 24-Hour Study Centre.

These meters will continuously monitor noise levels to help maintain a conducive atmosphere for focused learning and research.

We encourage all patrons to be mindful of their noise levels in the quiet zones. By working together to keep sound levels below the targeted threshold, we can create a more productive and enjoyable study environment for everyone.
