PolyU Library Announced as Finalist for 2026 Clarivate Library Innovation Awards

We are excited to share that PolyU Library is a finalist for the 2026 Clarivate Library Innovation Awards! This recognition celebrates our continued commitment to advancing AI and digital transformation in essential areas, including resource discovery, support for learning and research, improving operational efficiency, and building staff capabilities.

The Clarivate Library Innovation Awards honour libraries worldwide that are driving impactful change through creativity and technology. This year, entries were received from 11 different countries and regions. An international panel of library leaders carefully selected the finalists, recognising those who are helping to shape the future of information access. We are honoured that PolyU Library has been selected as one of the three finalists in the IGeLU Member Category (Academic Libraries – International). The winner will be announced in October 2026.

Since 2024, PolyU Library’s AI transformation initiative has demonstrated how strategic, inclusive innovation — grounded in user needs, staff empowerment, and sustainable technologies — can redefine the academic library as a proactive engine of institutional advancement.
