The PolyU Library has been honoured with the pivotal role of inaugural chairperson for the Regional Ex Libris Alma User Group this year. The user group aims to foster cooperation and connection among Alma users in the Hong Kong and Macau regions.
Now PolyU corresponding authors have additional options to publish open access articles with a full waiver of Article Processing Charges (APCs). We have new Transformative Agreements (TA) with additional leading publishers, which will provide greater options for open access publishing. Learn more.
Embedded in the Library’s discovery tool (OneSearch), the new Rapido resource sharing system expands the access to books, book chapters and articles beyond the PolyU collection. It simplifies the process of HKALL and Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services, enables PolyU students and staff to track delivery status of their requests and submit renewal requests easily.
The Library’s Digital scholarship services provide digital tools, support and resources for researchers and students to engage in innovative digital projects and to embrace digital transformation in their learning and scholarly research. These services are made possible through specialised software, high-performance PCs, equipment for digitisation service, self-service studios and Digital Visualisation Room at i-Space (4/F North Wing) and 3/F (North Wing), as well as collaboration in digital humanities projects.
Nominated by Faculties/Schools, six feature stories of PolyU students have been newly added to the Outstanding Work by Students (OWS) Showcase and Online Portal. Get inspired by the success stories and learning experience of PolyU students in various disciplines now.
