  • The Library maintains an extensive collection related to the University research activities. Subscriptons to the following journals have recently been renewed, and are available for access via the Library homepage.


    Accounting Research Journal The American Journal on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AJIDD)

    It covers research and practice of accounting, finance, auditing, commercial law and cognate disciplines. The journal includes work reporting the results of research conducted using data from Australia, New Zealand and other Asian-Pacific countries.

    The AJIDD reports current and critical research in biological, behavioral, and educational sciences. It is a singular, multidisciplinary resource in the causes, treatment, and prevention of intellectual disability. It is an essential reference and resource tool for institutions such as doctoral and master's-level universities, research organizations, teaching hospitals, sciences and human services libraries interested in understanding causes, prevention and treatment for intellectual disabilities.

           
    Corpora : Corpus-based Language Learning, Language Processing and Linguistics Ethnic and Racial Studies

    Corpora is a journal of corpus linguistics focusing on varied uses of corpora both in linguistics and beyond. It provides articles presenting research findings based on the exploitation of corpora as well as accounts of corpus building, corpus tool construction and corpus annotation schemes.



    Race, ethnicity and nationalism are very important social and political issues in the present global environment.  Ethnic and Racial Studies is the leading journal for the analysis of these issues throughout the world. It provides an interdisciplinary academic forum for the presentation of research and theoretical analysis, drawing on sociology, social policy, anthropology, political science, economics, geography, international relations, history, social psychology, and cultural studies.

         
    International Journal of Protective Structures Languages in Contrast

    Newly published in 2010, it covers high quality research papers related to civil infrastructure protection against natural or man-made shock and impact loads such as blast loads from terrorist actions or accidental gas explosions, vehicle impact on road and bridge infrastructure, ship impact on bridge structures, impact between adjacent structures during earthquake shakings, and drop weight effects.

    This peer reviewed journal aims at publishing contrastive studies of two or more languages. Any aspect of language may be covered, including vocabulary, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, text and discourse, stylistics, sociolinguistics, and psycholinguistics.
