Including Library Resources in Online Teaching and Learning Materials

Part 1. Linking to Articles in Electronic Journals / Databases

Do you want your students to read specific journal articles for your course? The Library provides round-the-clock access over 30,000 electronic journals. In many, but not all, cases, hyperlinks to electronic versions of journal articles could be created and integrated into your online teaching materials or WebCT pages. Below are Library subscribed databases or e-journals collections that maintain durable URLs for articles. Follow the instructions below to create your online lists of recommended readings or class syllabi. Remember to test the links you have built periodically.

Important !

Access to and use of the Library's electronic resources is restricted to members of the PolyU community. For off campus access, please refer to the guide on Remote Access to Library Resources. Also read the Library's Electronic Resources Copyright Warning for copyright restrictions.

Never attempt to load full-text journal articles
in any format into your online teaching materials
.
