As a member of edX* consortium, PolyU has embarked on the Mass Open Online Courses (MOOCs) project. To avoid copyright infringement, faculty staff are encouraged to adopt Open Educational Resources (OER) when preparing for teaching materials for MOOCs .

Use of Open Educational Resources (OER)

Open Educational Resources (OER) are free learning and teaching materials available for use by anyone. These open educational resources are usually shared via websites of education providers and publishers. Below is a list of free resources for finding open access materials.
