WAM (Web Access Management) Services

Who may access

Library registered external users, including valid holders of Borrower's Tickets (Graduate, Special, PolyU Privilege Card, and CEO Club Member) and cardholders of Long Serving Retirees may access a number of Databases off campus via the WAM Services.

What can be accessed

Due to license agreement stipulations, external users may only access database titles with the Remote Access Codes "A" and "U" from home. The Library is negotiating with the information vendors to expand/update the access list. The Authorized Remote Access list for external users will be updated from time to time without prior notification to the users. All users are urged to observe the e-Resources Copyright Regulations when using the databases.

How to access

  • Select a title from the Database list in the Library HomePage and click "To access".
  • The WAM login page will appear.
  • Enter your Library No. (Barcode) and Personal Identification No. (PIN) and then click "Submit" to proceed. This is the same set of information that you use to view your circulation records in the Library Online Catalogue.
