The Science Citation Index Expanded, published by the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI), is a multidisciplinary database which indexes more than 5,300 major journals across 164 scientific disciplines. It also contains searchable author abstracts as well as cited reference list. It is 2,000 more than the print or CD-ROM versions, and updated with appropriate 16,000 new records every week..
