(1) Installation of More Viewers in Library PCs

A user requested to install Snapshot Viewer for MS Access 2002, MS Visio Viewer 2003 and Autodesk DWG TrueView in Library public PCs.

As these viewers are free programs and curriculum supportive, the Library will include them in the public PC template in the summer.

(2) Noise in the 24-hour Study Centre after Library Closing

The Library has received numerous complaints on noise in the 24-hour Study Centre during Library closing hours.

The Library would like to remind all users that the 24-hour Study Centre is to be used solely for studying after Library closing and that discussion is not allowed. Security Guards will patrol the Centre in regular intervals and uncooperative users will be asked to leave.

The Library would like to take this opportunity to appeal to all users to be considerate and keep the Centre noise free.
