All
still images in the Library can be searched on Library Catalogue by keyword
search using designer’s name or brand name together with
the year of shows if necessary. They are available for
browsing in the Slide Collection, Media Services Section, 3/F, Library.
Most fashion images, where copyright permits, are available online in two Image Databases developed in-house by the Library. They can be accessible in the Library Homepage (Electronic Resource > Featured PolyU Databases > Electronic Images)
Digital Image Gallery (featuring fashion shows since 2003 spring/summer+)
Slide Image Database (covering fashion shows from 1985 – 1997)

Fashion Archive &n Fabric Library (developed by the Institute of Textiles
& Clothing (ITC), providing useful pictorial resources on fashion shows and
fabrics.
Enter the distinct words or phrase containing information of the required item(s).
Select specific AV format (e.g. slide image, video cassette, video CD or DVD video) from the Material Type drop-down list, if necessary.
Select Audio Visual Collection from the Collection Subset drop-down list to limit the search to AV materials only.
